3 WAYS TO KEEP GOING

Image
1. Do something you love - Don't be tempted to do things just because others are doing it. There is a big difference between how you do things and how they do theirs. Go for the things you love and you're passionate about. 2. Forget the past - Let the bygones be the bygones, although they say that what happened yesterday can affect your today. Don't let the past haunt you, clear to move on. If you let the past consistently affect your today then you won't get anywhere in life. If you've tried something in the past and it failed, get yourself up and don't give up, continue or try something else and you won't be disappointed. 3. Learn to be grateful - Give thanks for what you have and don't complain of what you don't have. Being content with what you have is very important, work towards what you want and be hopeful that you will get it. Appreciating the simple things in life gives is fundamental.

JAHNATHAN NERETTE'S ALBUM RELEASE/ ALBUM ETÉREO

Image
When I first discovered Jahnathan Nerette back in 2018, I was going through my YouTube trying to create a playlist then I came across some really classic tune that I completely loved, being fun of classical tunes explains why I fell in love with his music, as much as I love songs most of Jahnathan's songs are about love which makes me want to listen to his songs all day. Talking about what inspires him Jahnathan says that " everything that is in this world is inspired by love" and that's why he is more than willing to sing it all day every day. Let's get into his new album, ETÉREO coming out on May 1st this year, and oh boy! am so waiting for it. Jahnathan explains his music as a collection of genre he heard while growing up, growing up he listened to classical music as well as hard rock literally, and of course, he adds his own twist,  quite unique if I may say so. Music being a universal medicine, especially now when the world is on a really tough ti...

HOW'S THE GOING SO FAR?

Image
My lovelies!! I decided to take this opportunity to check on you all. How are y'all holding up as the world is going through this hard time? It is important to check up on everyone who is dear to us. As everyone is talking about quarantine partners,  putting up a picture of how they are having fun with family, I thought of those that are doing this alone and are craving hugs, on the other side, there are those enjoying this moment because introverts you know? I'm an introvert at heart and I thrive indoors, but here I'm missing going out and craving to enjoy the serenity of beautiful spaces. I mean the pressure of this ' new normal ' is frightening, with the rise of Covid19 in the country death cases still being reported, I don't know if that makes you worry, cos we all are trying to survive this season and get through this. With the little idea of what tomorrow holds, it is important to see the light at the end of the tunnel, cos it is in this time th...

5 APPS I USE TO RUN MY BLOG

Image
Hello, lovelies, as a blogger there are a few apps that every one of us must have in order to keep their blog running and as for me, I decided to share with you few of my favourite apps that I personally use in order to keep my blog running. Let's get into the first one Blogger - Before I started blogging, I had to choose which blogging app I should use and with the little knowledge I had, I decided to start my blogging with blogger. As much as a blogger is limited to customizing themes which I came to realize later, it gives you a chance to edit and publish. There are other apps that you can also choose from, that are free if you want to start your blogging journey. Grammarly - It's an amazing app to check your grammar while you're editing your blogs, Grammarly helps you check errors, checks spellings and most importantly vocabulary enhancement. Grammarly helps you publish your blog with absolutely no mistakes and I'd recommend every blogger to use it. ...

COPING WITH THE NEW NORMAL/ IDENTITY BLOGS PART2

With everything going on with COVID-19.All my prayers go out to everyone who's been affected and hoping we all are coping well with social distancing and putting every preventive measure that has been put in place so all this situation can end very soon. Since this whole pandemic has stopped us from our norm. I decided to take this chance to share with you Part 2 of my IDENTITY BLOG. Having all the time in the world, it's a great time to discover so much about ourselves, so as I said there before IDENTITY BLOGS are all about sharing stories, thoughts, my fears, strength, breakthrough, experience with you, this has certainly been interesting and reading your feedback encourages me to continue sharing more with you. Just the other day at the beginning of the year we had so much planned ahead, am sure every one of us had something in mind they were looking forward to fulfilling this year. We had a little thought of what might happen in the process, we never thought of w...

YOUR JOURNEY OF SELF-DISCOVERY SHOULD START IN THIS TIME OF ISOLATION

Image
Someone wrote that "if you don't come out of this pandemic with a new skill or a plan for the future, wisdom and a vision for your life, remember you don't have a 'time' problem, you have an 'excuses' problem". And it really spoke to me. It is at this time that we start to discover our inner self and work out on being that which brings us happiness every day. Before this whole pandemic, we all had a life that in one way or the other distanced us from our real life, here we are being cautioned to sit back at home. As much as this might be difficult for those who can't work from home, this is a great time to discover ourselves. Discover who our inner selves are, what makes our souls dance or even discover what we can possibly do. This is the time to find out all about ourselves. Over the years we were focused on other people, the kind of love they give to us, the attention, conversations, money or even the company we keep. It's so unbel...
