2018 HEALTHY HABITS THAT CHANGED MY LIFE
- ENOUGH SLEEP Recommended sleep time for adults is at least 7\8 hours I have come to realize that sleep is very important and I have kept this routine which has helped me over the year,enough sleep not only reduces the risk of getting condition like heart attack and other health related conditions but also helps you relax and wake up refreshed,sleep is the key to healthy lifestyle.
- DRINKING WATER REGULARLY Water is very important in our body,it is advisable to take at least 8 glasses of water a day,staying hydrated is very important, I have made it part of my lifestyle,it prevents headaches,Kidney Stones,relieves constipation,helps your brain function and also helps during workout.
- WORKOUT This was one of the challenges that I thought that I won't push through till the end of the year and am so great-full to myself being consistent and waking motivated to start the day with workout,I start my morning with a run and it has helped me to regain my confidence about my body,having good body posture,improved my self esteem and above all I have been having the best sleep.I can't look back and regret on waking up early for a run so far, and the reason I chose morning run is because it is an all body workout and it energizes your body for the day ahead,I recommend you try morning run routine.
- EATING HOMEMADE MEALS I had always opted for takeaway foods even while at work or when I don't really want to cook,but eating homemade food comes with a lot of benefits,you not only know every ingredient going into your body but also,makes you choose healthy meals all the time,when you go for takeaway most of the food that comes into your head are fries and burger,but when you buy from the market to prepare it yourself,you will find yourself going for veggies and fruits and other healthy ingredient.Which are beneficial to your body.

- SPENDING TIME WITH LOVED ONES They say family comes first,and as the world is changing,we find ourselves being away from the ones we love,and being so attached to our work or cellphones or even friends.One thing that I appreciate more than anything is my parents who have brought me up with so much of their presence, therefore I have always loved to take that spirit and spend time with them too and my siblings,bonding with them not only helps share what you're feeling but also reduces stress,creates bonds,and most of all creates memories.
- READING/LEARNING SOMETHING NEW I have developed a deep interest in books lately and as much as I love writing,reading is essential,learning staffs from the internet and watching documentaries have been life changing.Learning enhances your mind thus giving you confidence when answering questions.
- PRAYING Praying has been one of the most important thing that i cant forget to do as it was installed in me by my parents at a very young age.Growing up i have always learnt to thank God and always see the beauty of believing in God everywhere I go.It is important to take your time and spend some time with God it develops a deeper relationship with Him.
- MOTIVATION Seeking motivation from the people who inspire me and listening to podcasts and reading motivational books,when you are motivated you get the psyche to do things in a more happy and better way, this has made me do things that I love and make people happy.
- SAVING Lack of money leads most of us into stress and even depression,if you save money wisely you are likely to avoid stress and that is among the tings that rally helped me in 2018,money give you peace of mind and confidence not forgetting some type of happiness.

- HAVING ME TIME Being alone and reflecting the decision am making in life while making other life choices,having sometimes with myself helped me plan my life and put myself together and fix the thins that i needed to fix alone with no interruption or noise,go for a date with yourself,ask for a cup of coffee and ask yourself question and answer every single one of them this way you are able to have a planned life and make less mistake.
- BEING POSITIVE Its okay to see things in a different perspective but being positive and seeing things in a good way is important.
- HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS Having some friends and sharing with friends and having fun really helped me it gives you a great feeling of being loved and making you see you are not alone,have those friends whom you can share your deep thoughts with and the ones who can help you at your lowest moment.
- DOING WHAT I LOVE This is important to the mind, body and sole doing what I love made me discover more about my passion and how to develop it.It is also fun and great.
- EXPLORING Going places and knowing more about things is my favorite all time thing to do,i love hiking,adventure and taking pictures,although 2018 i din't hike as much as i wanted to,i would say exploring gives you a sense of appreciating life,nature and what you have around you,you also learn in the process.
