10 THINGS AM STILL LEARNING IN MY TWENTIES

Hello lovelies!As I turn 23 years today, This are some of the few things I'm still learning in my twenties that I would like to share with you;

•  HAVING A VISION The main question hitting my head right now is where I'm gonna be 10 years from now. One year since I graduated from college and having the mindset that I want to achieve much when am still young,then reality hit me,I have decided not to let the system control me anymore ,and do whatever I have to do to make a living.As youngsters we tend to have so much expectation after we clear from college, but I have learnt there's so much we can do away from getting a job with our papers.You can start a business by your own and earn from it,there's also so much online job that you can look into and get good money before you get a real job.
• GREAT CAREERS TAKE TIME I have come to learn that we all start from the bottom, in fact jobs doesn't come easily at this age,as the job market looks for experienced individuals,this should not be the end of your career,you can develop it in some other way.Try look for internship or volunteer opportunities,here,you will get great experience that will lead you to your dream career.
• FAMILY COMES FIRST I have realized family is very important,they come first in everything,being close to my family has helped me know them better and even create a strong bond between us.I have realized that family lasts forever but friendships can break anytime,putting God first is also an important aspect that has come to my knowledge.
• INSTANT WEALTH DOES NOT EXIST The fairly tales we used to tell of how rich we gonna be when we get our first jobs with my friends?I actually laugh at them right now, and because that doesn't exist,more responsibility keep coming and you find yourself figuring out which bill to pay,nothing comes on a silver plate,it's also important that you save for the future,many in their twenties opt to use their money on betting sites and other unnecessary spending instead of investing,they forget that there's no instant money,in this age I have learnt to use money wisely,invest or start a good business .
• CHOOSING A LIFE PARTNER Its never too late so being in a hurry to look for a life partner shouldn't be an issue to worry about . Choose a partner wisely,someone who suits the characteristic or attributes that you are looking for in a partner,it leads to healthy relationship that can lead both of you growing together.
• USING MONEY WISELY No matter how much money you earn,it can be worthless if you don't use it wisely.Don't have it in your pocket just for the sake of having it,have it because you want to do something valuable with it,always have a purpose for your money,like going back to school,developing your skill or investing it.
• NEVER GIVE UP So many hardship face the youths in their twenties,like lack of jobs,relationships etc but that should not be the end of you,we all had that time we had plans on how our life gonna turn out to be, then things end up turning upside down,if things don't turn out  your way,you don't sit there and sympathize,being on your twenties means you still have a long way to go,and that means going for what you believe in,it doesn't matter how many times but you should try until things turn out the way you want.
• KNOWING WHAT I WANT The earlier you figure out what you want with life,the better,don't wait until you are too old,start that one thing that you have always believed it can take you to the next level,don't wait to say you wish you would have done it.DO IT NOW!!!
• PLEASING OTHERS One thing that will course your greatest downfall is pleasing others,you cannot become successful by doing what other people want,in my 20's am conscious of the society around me,and there can be no society when am broke and defendant,so focus on yourself and become useful in the society.
• NEVER BE INTIMIDATED This is the time you are free to discover anything you can do under the sun, so try what you are capable of doing and don't let anyone tell you otherwise,during this time you might find people doubting your ability but to tell you the fact,your life is in your hand and you should do what you have to do to achieve a great future.
