MY FITNESS JOURNEY/HOW TO GET WORKOUT MOTIVATION
Hello lovelies!! Close to 2years I made a conscious decision to incorporate fitness into my lifestyle, it was hard to convince my mind and body to start being active, I was never involved in any sports since my schooling years,I hated sporting activities with a passion and was never active, I even couldn't mind eating anything,but soon enough, the food I ate started going to the wrong places, I had to do something since I had already started modelling and I was also starting my blog,there was no way I was gonna feel uncomfortable yet I could do something about it. I made up my mind and started my fitness journey.
I would say motivation is one of the key things that if you lack then it would be hard to reach your goals.
I decided to share some few tips you need to get motivation,
✓Buy workout clothes- workout outfits is what will get you started, they will motivate you to use them.
✓Set a reminder on when you want to workout, mark your calendar for the days you will be working out, sometimes you can be occupied by so many things in life (I also find myself in the same situation) to a point you just forget to workout or even you can't get time to workout.But when you set a reminder it will be hard for you to forget or skip your workout routine.
✓Be consistent, set goals and have a strong spirit and keep reminding yourself why you started,it keeps you moving.Be willing to go through pain.Its worth it ,also remember that no pain no gain.
✓Dont always workout on the same place learn to change your location because working out on the same place can be boring.
✓Keep yourself hydrated before and after workout it is very important.
✓Challenge yourself on different competition like marathon, it gives you motivation to be better.
✓Document your journey, seeing your body transformation makes you motivated to reach your body goal.
✓Have a workout buddy, have someone whom you workout with. Let it be someone who keeps you moving not someone who doesn't motivate you or doesn't encourage you to keep on.
✓Listen to podcast/music, they will keep you going and it even becomes fun as they are a great motivator while working out.
