NEW MONTH GOALS + WHITE ROMPER

Hello lovelies!!
Firstly, let's get into the look and then these new month goals. Honestly when I came across this romper, I couldn't hide the excitement, after alot of unsuccessful search for sometime, I've always wanted a white romper.


 So, I show up to a shoot and immediately I wear it and my photographer goes crazy on this look,I don't know how to explain it but this romper is extremely my current vibe,I would literally wear it everyday.
I love the fact that it's so unique and pretty, I wanted to make it look simple so I didn't have to add a blazer or too much accessories, I wanted it to stand out, I paired it with some cool white heels and went for a pink pulse, and you can tell I loved it!!


Secondly, now let's talk about the goals! Since we are officially half way through the year.Am so hyped and on full speed to fulfill my goals.
Being consistent on this blog was one of my new years goal and am on full gear doing at least three blogs a month, I must say I have really kept my word, I want to get to a point where I can put up new blog every week,we shall get there don't worry, I had to come up with a schedule that is more realistic and 3 blogs a month will actually work for me, so get ready with your phone,laptop etc and be ready for more content.

I started an abs challenge last month, if you follow my Instagram @valentine.n254 am still working on my fitness journey, let's have some abs before the year end! Lol.
Lastly, I am quite a reader and lately being tight with work has made me put my books back on the shelves.I honestly misses cosying up on the sofa with some hot tea and a good book,and am looking for a way to get back on that.

So bomb, that is it!?, am done, You guys are more than welcome to hold me accountable,  especially on the consistency part!!

Early last month i was able to become a certified System thinker under SAYDS program which equips young Kenyan youth with the necessary skill to understand serious complex issues and howw to solve them. This has been a really beautiful jorney as I am only going to understand these interesting social problems as I will be able to split them down but also be able to explore them and also implement effective action to solve them. SAYDS equip youth with systems thinking skills for creating and implementing effective solutions for lasting social change and very step of this journey to become a system thinker has been phenomenal.  The amazing SAYDS team guiding us on every step of the way and equipping us with knowlegdge necessary to tackle challenges having impacted alot of participant and still going on to do the same every year. Well, hello lovelies. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve logged in to chat here, life lately has been super hectic, super busy to be precise. This year has been whimsical in so many ways.  Hope you've had a great start of the month, as I am writing this in the morning of the beginning of september, I is the start of the month, Its a gloomy day as I look out of the window. LOOSEN YOUR GRIP

This thought keeps coming at least twice or thrice a day and each time, it hits me right in my center. I never saw myself as someone with control issues. I am very much a live-and-let-live kinda girl for the most part. I let people do what they want to do and respect everyone having a choice to live their life how they see fit. What I've never taken note of was how in control have to be all the time. Emotionally to feel comfortable and safe. I wasn't controlling others or trying to control my environment, I was controlling myself.  POLICING MYSELF. I was holding so tight to my emotions that my knuckles were turning white. I needed to loosen my grip. I needed to learn to let go of the emotions so that my hands would be free to hold purposeful things.
