NATURAL HAIR PERFECTION/THE STRUGGLE IS REAL
Hello loveies!!! Let's say I didn't enjoy it to the latter. And I don't feel guilty saying that.
I've never gone out with my natural hair, so I decided to give it a try. With all this natural hair reviews going on in the internet I decided try.
Well, I wasn't sure if it's gonna work for me, but I ascertained myself to go ahead and try it. Seeing all this celebrities like our very own Lupita Nyong'o rocking their natural hair, oh boy! I had to try it, they look amazingly beautiful on it, so why not me.
Am not a fun of washing my own hair and would prefer to do it at the salon, but this time I was in for it.I went ahead, took my shampoo and conditioner washed it gently and I was done, came to now detangling it, painful I tell you! Moisturised it ,plaited some 'matutas' ( forgive my French) and waited for the magic to happen.
I was ready to go out with my head high with my own natural hair.I am one of those people who feel they don't look good enough on
natural hair, and for that case I prefer covering it with a headscarf when it's not braided. But with my natural hair experiment, I was more than willing to be proud of it, well, it's not that am not proud, but I was gonna do it with more pride and joy and satisfaction.get me??
As my journey with my own hair continued, I realised something that comes along with natural hair maintenance, doing it every morning, guys, this totally gave me a whole bad mood.
Maybe I had set my expectation much high, in a way I'd say I didn't enjoy the experience, but all these blogs making it look easy, then it becomes disappointing when you do it in reality, or perhaps there's something I did miss.I might be making it look even harder but oh boy! I kept missing to go back to my braids. Or maybe I'm not good at it.
How was your experience with natural hair?
