MY PERFECT MAXI

Every girl needs a beautiful and colourful perfect maxi.
Maxi dresses feel pretty all-time and effortlessly gives some type of vibe that makes you feel gorgeous. Am I right?
October is almost coming to an end and only two months to the end of the year, am excited the year is coming to an end, probably not much-excited cos I still haven't fulfilled some of the few goals that I want to achieve before then.
Am really happy on the fact that am also trying to improve on my content daily, and you guys have been really supportive so far. All I wanna say is a big THANK YOU!!



When I started this blog I only uploaded once a month,  this year I took an extra step to always upload once every week which I have been doing until now. When this month started I had one goal, and that is to take an extra effort and upload at least two blogs a week, which is what I will be doing starting this week,  so look out for a new blog every Monday and Thursdays.



Putting up a blog post ain't easy, any blogger would tell you that, but it takes passion and commitment to get it done,  also you guys have been so motivational and that has always kept me going.


Now let's get back to this beautiful maxi dress that I absolutely love. The red floral vibes in it gives me chills,  also the chiffon fabric, a great feeling which makes it perfect for me.
Although I have owned a couple of maxi dresses before, I would say,  this one nailed it!




Buying a maxi,  I don't just pick any, Let me share with you a few tips on what I  look for while shopping for a maxi dress.
The design This has to do with how you want your maxi to look like,  looking at the fact that maxi dresses are with mostly on summer or an eventful day i like the sleeveless ones or the ones with no sleeves.
Fabric a light fabric is also essential, chiffon works well for me, it feels comfy and gorgeous.
Colour mostly, the maxi is for occasions/dates/holidays/picnics, therefore, vibrant colours are what i go for. It conveys a fun mood and super cute girly vibe.
Length Hey! My maxi must sweep the damn floor, I love that kind of dramatic vibe y'all (hahaha) easy to get noticed,  so the longer the maxi the better.

Well, hello lovelies. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve logged in to chat here, life lately has been super hectic, super busy to be precise. This year has been whimsical in so many ways.  Hope you've had a great start of the month, as I am writing this in the morning of the beginning of september, I is the start of the month, Its a gloomy day as I look out of the window. LOOSEN YOUR GRIP

This thought keeps coming at least twice or thrice a day and each time, it hits me right in my center. I never saw myself as someone with control issues. I am very much a live-and-let-live kinda girl for the most part. I let people do what they want to do and respect everyone having a choice to live their life how they see fit. What I've never taken note of was how in control have to be all the time. Emotionally to feel comfortable and safe. I wasn't controlling others or trying to control my environment, I was controlling myself.  POLICING MYSELF. I was holding so tight to my emotions that my knuckles were turning white.
