MY THRIFTING TRY ON HAUL/REASON YOU SHOULD GO THRIFT SHOPPING
I'm excited to share with you this blog, on my previous post before I went on a long break, I promised that I would share with you some of the outfits I got while thrifting at Gikimba market.
Today I'm wearing two major pieces that I thrifted, which you guys should notice by the look on my face are now one of my favourite pieces I'm loving.
I took some other few pieces that I also got from the same place.
As a blogger in this day and age, fashion trendsetters, social media glitz and the whole idea of dressing to impress is very much alive. Everyone's style is very different and there's a variety of many options of how people should dress to look good.
However, I like to call my style simple, unique and elegant and putting together this outfit gave me the vibe that I wanted and am personally impressed, which makes me want to go back for more.

I get asked where I get my outfits and now y'all have an idea of it. The trick with thrifting is having a good eye and being creative when it comes to putting your outfit together, more so, enjoying your shopping, that being said,
I decided to put together some of the few reasons why you should try thrift shopping.
1. Quality - Most of the thrifted items are definitely of high quality. I believe by anyone who has ever been a thrifter can attest to this. The fact that the outfit is still in shape is a good reason to believe.
2. Creativity - I love putting my clothes together and the fact that while thrifting you need to have that in mind. When I purchase my outfits, I usually have in mind what to match it with.
3. Variety - There are so many different styles from vintage style to modern street styles. While thrifting, you find all sort of things and that's what I like about it.
4. Uniqueness - I prefer my pieces unique, the fact that I find them at a fair price is even better. I love an outfit that doesn't go out of style and that's what am here for, therefore wearing that outfit and getting questions like"where can I get that "outfit blows my mind, cos you just have to go thrifting is.
5. Promoting Local market - A big percentage of people are earning a living here, so when thrifting, technically you putting food on someone's table etc this the growth of the economy.
6. Networking - I have honestly met people that we later become friends. I have even met fellow bloggers.
7. Adventure - I enjoy the experience nothing as fulfilling as going to such a place and ending up with amazing pieces for you to wear. It's fun and exciting at the same time, and that's what shopping should be.
8. Saves you money - last but not least thrifting has saved some coins for me. I get designer pieces that go all the way to the lowes price you can think of.
That beats the end of our blog today and am overwhelmed by your feedback on the previous blog about Gikomba(link) check out if you haven't
Thank you for stopping by!
Hope I have inspired you to try some thrifting.
