STARTING A BLOG IN 2020?

If you are wondering if this is a good time to start a blog before the year-end, the short answer will be yes!!
Although my blog is still a work in progress, I have loved the journey, I started my blog in 2017 and named it 'Pain&Passion', but over the years more so this year I have decided to change my blog name to 'First Thing Today'. 
So here are some of the steps I used in starting a blog and a few steps on how you should start yours before year-end.
Pick a name
It is significant to have a name and be sure that you use it in a long time. When I started my blog I was sure I wanted to talk about everything lifestyle and I didn't want to be limited to anything. So a name that resonates with what you want to talk about is important.
Platform 
There are so many platforms out there, pick out one of the best you, blogspot.com is one of them and the one I use. There are a variety of blogging options out their puck one that is best for you.
Select a theme
Have a theme that is simple to navigate. Having a complicated theme makes it a tedious experience for your readers to navigate.
Have a theme that is pleasing and is easy to guide and readers can follow to get your setup nicely.
Ready, Set, Blog!
Now it's your time to put your first blog, don't be afraid to start,  don't go through this whole process not to have anyone to see it. So post your blog to your audience on different platforms.
One thing I love about content creation and having all these platforms is that I can share my content, not everyone will watch/read your post but hey!  you are just starting, a blog is a space to express yourself and your content will live there, so whenever anyone wants to read it, it's just a click away.

WHERE DO I BEGIN? + theres alot to uncover

Well, hello lovelies. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve logged in to chat here, life lately has been super hectic, super busy to be precise. This year has been whimsical in so many ways.  Hope you've had a great start of the month, as I am writing this in the morning of the beginning of september, I is the start of the month, Its a gloomy day as I look out of the window. LOOSEN YOUR GRIP

This thought keeps coming at least twice or thrice a day and each time, it hits me right in my center. I never saw myself as someone with control issues. I am very much a live-and-let-live kinda girl for the most part. I let people do what they want to do and respect everyone having a choice to live their life how they see fit. What I've never taken note of was how in control have to be all the time. Emotionally to feel comfortable and safe. I wasn't controlling others or trying to control my environment, I was controlling myself.  POLICING MYSELF. I was holding so tight to my emotions that my knuckles were turning white. I needed to loosen my grip. I needed to learn to let go of the emotions so that my hands would be free to hold purposeful things.
