2023.....A few things
Oh, it's been a little while, hasn't it? Five months since I last posted on this little corner of the internet. Am not quite sure where I should start, but I suppose I should start by saying “Life eh" So much has happened in the last few months and again I find myself in a transition period, things changing or stepping into something new. I have a cup of tea as I write this, so please join me in drinking something. Creatively I have been in a state of rest and mindfulness however am still trying to balance life and everything else. I have been trying to figure out why I don't blog often anymore. When I started I would share almost three times every week. Things were simpler then and now I feel things are much more complicated now.
This year my guiding word was 'discipline' not just in workout but in basically anything I needed to do, and there was one rule, 'to push myself' working out a few times a week which became not only a routine but also a lifestyle.
As much as I advocate for a good workout I believe we also need to heal our minds first (or actively try) and everything will fall into place. For me, that has been an eye-opening revelation.
Where does one begin after such an absence? bear with me as I try to find my way around...
Anyway, I felt today I might share a few things with you as the year comes to an end. It's almost the end of the year, can you believe it?!
This year I have spent most time with family and friends, become more consistent with my workout routine, read more books, and focused more on what matters the most to me in this life.
I would say I've been able to be more consistent with my workout, spending my time outside getting fresh air, quiet, music, and rest and a big portion of this is because I felt anxiety crippling in and I needed to do something about it.
