HANDLING LIFE'S PRESSURE
Hello lovelies, Hope y'all are holding up, and staying safe wherever you're.
On today's blog, I decided to talk about handling life's pressure. The pressure to evolve into something better is real, especially during this hard time, I remember at the beginning of the year we had so much planned and here we are having to put everything on hold until this pandemic is over and what is even worse is that we are not sure when all this will end.
But on the other hand, in real life I have found myself putting into so much pressure in scheduling too many things in a very short time, the pressure to put in extra effort in the things I do, even on my blog.
I feel the pressure to deliver quality content as well as connecting with you as a reader.
However, today I decided to share some practical ways to help anyone handle the pressure that comes along in life.
While in college, I felt too much pressure to get a job. I was nervous that I wouldn't get a job or I might stay for a while without a job, but luckily I got a job the same year I graduated. It is normal that in a certain point in life we feel the pressure of being successful and being on the top of our careers but finding a way to overcome it is really important.
1. Writing down your thoughts - Although I've been doing journaling for some time now, I'm learning to pour out my soul, write down my prayers dreams and goals and also what I plan to do each day. I also write good things I have seen or done each day and be grateful often.
2. Self-talk - You can call me crazy! but this one works. I often talk to myself quite often. Sometimes it's just simple words of affirmation and sometimes it's just to calm me down or process things, it's healthy for the mind.
3. Talk to someone - Having someone to talk to is good. A problem shared is a problem half solved. There's no shame seeking help from someone you trust.
4. Work out - Sweating clears your heart, it has been proven that exercise reduces stress and anxiety.
5. Meditation - Finding some quiet time and rethinking can also help reduce pressure.
6. Catching up with friends - Create time to catch up with friends. Catch up over a little cup of coffee and also a little gossip doesn't hurt(if you know what I mean lol😆 )this is the time to get silly and have fun too.
Where does your pressure come from?
