6 WAYS TO PRACTICE MINDFULNESS

Being in the present simply means enjoying the moment and loving everything as it comes.This ability of being in the present is a major component of mental wellness
For sometime I have been practicing to pay attention on the surrounding, taking control of my thoughts and recognizing the little things in life.I have tried to be more in the present by paying attention on what matters,this has helped me become more aware of  the little things that slip away when an not attentive.Therefore i found it helpful to share with you a few things that can also help you practice mindfulness.Check out this simple things you can start doing that can help you and your mental well being;
1.Avoid distraction - being glued on tv, phones and just putting your headphones aside for a while and listening to the surrounding.
2.Practice meditation
3.Appreciate where you are
4.Look for the reasons to be happy
5.Give thanks or gratitude
6.Let everything take it's course
